Nettle: High in vitamins A, C, K, calcium, potassium and iron. This herb contains the highest amount of chlorophyll of all the herbs and mimics hemoglobin, the molecule that carries iron around the body. Excellent for providing energy and strength in all stages of pregnancy. Thought to promote milk supply too.

• Red Raspberry Leaf: High in Fragine and Tannins, this herb helps strengthen and tone the uterus for birth. Rich in iron, this herb is also known for increase milk production, decrease nausea, and decrease pain associated with menstrual cramping. Most pregnancy teas contain red raspberry leaf either as a single ingredient or as part of a blend of herbs. Although considered safe in all trimesters, use caution in the first trimester if you have a history of miscarriage.
– rose hip: is high in vitamin C, assisting in immune support and help aid in the absorption of iron. May aid in digestion and constipation support
Ingredients
Stinging nettle leaf, Raspberry leaf, Oat straw, Alfalfa leaf, Dried lemon balm, Seamoss, Rose hips
Instructions
• Stir all the herbs together in a large mixing bowl so that they’re evenly distributed. Set a wide-mouth funnel into the lip of a jar and spoon the mixed herbs into the jar. Cap tightly and store out of the sun.
• Bring about a quart of water to a boil, and then spoon a heaping quarter-cup (about ¼ ounce) of your mixed herbs into a quart-sized jar. Cover with boiling water, cap, and let them steep overnight – about 8 hours. Strain out the herbs, and enjoy the tea.
Recommend about two cups a day during the second trimester and up to a quart a day in the third trimester.
